K-2 Experiences

Kindergarten through Second Grade meets on Sundays from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Kindergarten/First Grade

Goal: Students will experience the rich stories from the Book of Genesis, Jewish holidays, and Jewish symbols.
Overview: Students learn about Jewish symbols and holidays experientially, featuring music, storytelling, and services. Basic Hebrew blessings are also included.

Second Grade

Goal: Students will continue to develop their Jewish identity by celebrating Jewish holidays and the beautiful stories from the book of Genesis.

Overview: Students are introduced to Hebrew letters. Ethical and moral values are emphasized through the study of biblical stories.
