Temple Sinai is partnering with Temple Emeth to host the co-directors of Operating Together, an organization that facilitates advanced training for both Israeli and Palestinian trauma surgeons. Scheduled to appear are both Dr. Adam Goldstein, an American-born Israeli, and Dr. Tamer Jreis, a Palestinian who lives in Gaza. They will speak about the collaborative nature of their work, and the challenges the war presents. Their example provides a model for how medical care and training can promote coexistence.
