7th Grade Experiences

Seventh Grade meets once per month on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Temple Sinai partners with Moving Traditions (www.movingtraditions.org) to pioneer a new and exciting approach to the transitional year between traditional Religious School and teen programming. Through games, activities and discussion, the Moving Traditions’ sessions connect Jewish wisdom to the interpersonal and social elements of becoming a young adult and the B'nei Mitzvah experience. Pre-teens explore what it means to celebrate this milestone, to be the center of attention during a life cycle ritual, to navigate expectations from friends and family, to find Jewish meaning in the B'nei Mitzvah ceremony, as well as exploring other social-emotional challenges and joys associated with entering adolescence.
